Managing Course Reviews
As a club administrator, you can manage how reviews are collected and moderated for your courses.
Review Request Settings
Configure when and how players receive review requests after playing.
Accessing Settings
- Go to Admin Portal
- Navigate to Reviews -> Request Settings
- Select your club
Configuration Options

Notification Channels
Choose how players receive review requests:
- Push Notification - In-app notification (recommended)
- Email - Email message with review link
- SMS - Text message with review link
- WhatsApp - WhatsApp message with review link
tip
Push notifications have the highest engagement rate. Enable email as a backup for players without push enabled.
Viewing Analytics
Track your review request performance:
- Go to Reviews -> Analytics
- Select date range
- View metrics:
- Requests Sent - Total notifications sent
- Reviews Received - How many resulted in reviews
- Conversion Rate - Percentage of requests leading to reviews
Understanding Your Metrics
| Conversion Rate | Interpretation |
|---|---|
| > 15% | Excellent - Players are engaged |
| 10-15% | Good - Industry average |
| 5-10% | Fair - Consider timing adjustment |
| < 5% | Low - Review channel selection |
Moderating Reviews
Review incoming reviews before they're published.
Moderation Queue
- Go to Reviews -> Moderation
- See pending reviews
- For each review, choose:
- Approve - Publish the review
- Reject - Remove with reason

Timing Your Requests
- 4 hours works well for most courses (time to finish and relax)
- Same day captures fresh impressions
- Next morning can work for late tee times
Improving Conversion Rates
- Enable multiple channels - Push + Email reaches more players
- Personalize timing - Adjust based on your typical round time
- Respond to reviews - Engaged clubs see more reviews
Handling Negative Reviews
- Don't delete legitimate criticism - It builds trust
- Respond professionally - Show you care
- Address issues raised - Improve the experience
- Flag inappropriate content - Only for guideline violations
