Booking Issues

I can't find available tee times

  1. Check the date range - Some clubs only show availability 7-14 days ahead
  2. Try different times - Peak hours (weekend mornings) fill up fast
  3. Check player count - Some slots only allow 2 or 4 players
  4. Verify membership - Member-only times won't appear for visitors

My booking won't complete

  1. Session timeout - Tee time holds expire after 5 minutes; start again
  2. Payment failed - Check card details or try a different payment method
  3. Slot taken - Another player may have booked while you were checking out

I need to cancel or reschedule

  1. Go to My Bookings
  2. Find your booking and tap Manage
  3. Select Cancel or Reschedule
  4. Review any cancellation fees before confirming
Cancellation Policy

Each club sets their own cancellation policy. Check the booking confirmation email for details.

I didn't receive my booking confirmation

  1. Check your spam/junk folder
  2. Verify the email address on your profile is correct
  3. Look for the booking in My Bookings in the app
  4. Contact the club directly if the issue persists

Account Issues

I forgot my password

  1. Tap Sign In
  2. Tap Forgot Password
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Check your email for the reset link
  5. Create a new password

I can't sign in

  1. Wrong email - Try other email addresses you might have used
  2. Social login - If you signed up with Google/Apple, use that option
  3. Password reset - Request a password reset if unsure
  4. Account locked - Wait 30 minutes after multiple failed attempts

How do I update my profile?

  1. Go to Profile or Settings
  2. Tap Edit Profile
  3. Update your details (name, phone, handicap)
  4. Tap Save
  1. Go to Profile > Memberships
  2. Tap Link Membership
  3. Select your association (e.g., GolfRSA)
  4. Enter your membership number
  5. Verification happens automatically

Payment Issues

My payment was declined

Common reasons:

  • Insufficient funds - Check your account balance
  • Card expired - Update your card details
  • Bank block - Contact your bank to authorize the transaction
  • 3D Secure failed - Complete the bank verification step

I was charged but booking failed

  1. Check My Bookings - the booking may have succeeded
  2. Wait 10 minutes - sometimes there's a delay
  3. If no booking appears, contact support with:
    • Date and time of attempt
    • Amount charged
    • Last 4 digits of card

How do I get a refund?

Refunds depend on the club's cancellation policy:

  • Full refund - Usually available 24-48 hours before tee time
  • Partial refund - May apply for late cancellations
  • No refund - Typically for no-shows or same-day cancellations

Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.

Buddy Invites

My buddy didn't receive the invite

  1. Verify the phone number is correct (include country code)
  2. Check they haven't blocked WhatsApp messages
  3. Ask them to check their WhatsApp message requests
  4. Try sending via email instead

My buddy accepted but isn't in my list

  1. They need to sign up or log in to TeeTime first
  2. The invite links automatically when they use the same phone/email
  3. Ask them to check their buddy list - you should appear there too

How do I remove a buddy?

  1. Go to Buddies
  2. Find the buddy you want to remove
  3. Tap the menu icon (three dots)
  4. Select Remove Buddy

Mobile App Issues

The app is running slowly

  1. Update the app - Check for updates in your app store
  2. Restart the app - Close completely and reopen
  3. Check connection - Ensure you have a stable internet connection
  4. Clear cache - In app settings, tap "Clear Cache"

I'm not receiving notifications

  1. Check your phone's notification settings for TeeTime
  2. In the app, go to Settings > Notifications
  3. Enable the notification types you want
  4. Ensure Do Not Disturb is off

The app crashes on startup

  1. Update the app - Install the latest version
  2. Restart your phone - Sometimes a reboot helps
  3. Reinstall - Delete and reinstall the app
  4. Contact support - If the issue persists

Club Admin FAQ

How do I block tee times for an event?

  1. Go to Tee Sheet
  2. Select the date
  3. Click Block Times
  4. Choose start/end times
  5. Add a reason (e.g., "Club Championship")
  6. Save

How do I set up dynamic pricing?

  1. Go to Pricing > Overview
  2. Enable Auto-Yield for demand-based pricing
  3. Use Templates for common scenarios
  4. Test with Preview before going live

How do I add a staff member?

  1. Go to Settings > Staff
  2. Click Add Staff Member
  3. Enter their email and assign a role
  4. They'll receive an invitation email

How do I view booking reports?

  1. Go to Reports
  2. Select report type (Daily, Revenue, Utilization)
  3. Choose date range
  4. Export to CSV if needed
