Booking Issues
I can't find available tee times
- Check the date range - Some clubs only show availability 7-14 days ahead
- Try different times - Peak hours (weekend mornings) fill up fast
- Check player count - Some slots only allow 2 or 4 players
- Verify membership - Member-only times won't appear for visitors
My booking won't complete
- Session timeout - Tee time holds expire after 5 minutes; start again
- Payment failed - Check card details or try a different payment method
- Slot taken - Another player may have booked while you were checking out
I need to cancel or reschedule
- Go to My Bookings
- Find your booking and tap Manage
- Select Cancel or Reschedule
- Review any cancellation fees before confirming
Cancellation Policy
Each club sets their own cancellation policy. Check the booking confirmation email for details.
I didn't receive my booking confirmation
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Verify the email address on your profile is correct
- Look for the booking in My Bookings in the app
- Contact the club directly if the issue persists
Account Issues
I forgot my password
- Tap Sign In
- Tap Forgot Password
- Enter your email address
- Check your email for the reset link
- Create a new password
I can't sign in
- Wrong email - Try other email addresses you might have used
- Social login - If you signed up with Google/Apple, use that option
- Password reset - Request a password reset if unsure
- Account locked - Wait 30 minutes after multiple failed attempts
How do I update my profile?
- Go to Profile or Settings
- Tap Edit Profile
- Update your details (name, phone, handicap)
- Tap Save
How do I link my golf association membership?
- Go to Profile > Memberships
- Tap Link Membership
- Select your association (e.g., GolfRSA)
- Enter your membership number
- Verification happens automatically
Payment Issues
My payment was declined
Common reasons:
- Insufficient funds - Check your account balance
- Card expired - Update your card details
- Bank block - Contact your bank to authorize the transaction
- 3D Secure failed - Complete the bank verification step
I was charged but booking failed
- Check My Bookings - the booking may have succeeded
- Wait 10 minutes - sometimes there's a delay
- If no booking appears, contact support with:
- Date and time of attempt
- Amount charged
- Last 4 digits of card
How do I get a refund?
Refunds depend on the club's cancellation policy:
- Full refund - Usually available 24-48 hours before tee time
- Partial refund - May apply for late cancellations
- No refund - Typically for no-shows or same-day cancellations
Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.
Buddy Invites
My buddy didn't receive the invite
- Verify the phone number is correct (include country code)
- Check they haven't blocked WhatsApp messages
- Ask them to check their WhatsApp message requests
- Try sending via email instead
My buddy accepted but isn't in my list
- They need to sign up or log in to TeeTime first
- The invite links automatically when they use the same phone/email
- Ask them to check their buddy list - you should appear there too
How do I remove a buddy?
- Go to Buddies
- Find the buddy you want to remove
- Tap the menu icon (three dots)
- Select Remove Buddy
Mobile App Issues
The app is running slowly
- Update the app - Check for updates in your app store
- Restart the app - Close completely and reopen
- Check connection - Ensure you have a stable internet connection
- Clear cache - In app settings, tap "Clear Cache"
I'm not receiving notifications
- Check your phone's notification settings for TeeTime
- In the app, go to Settings > Notifications
- Enable the notification types you want
- Ensure Do Not Disturb is off
The app crashes on startup
- Update the app - Install the latest version
- Restart your phone - Sometimes a reboot helps
- Reinstall - Delete and reinstall the app
- Contact support - If the issue persists
Club Admin FAQ
How do I block tee times for an event?
- Go to Tee Sheet
- Select the date
- Click Block Times
- Choose start/end times
- Add a reason (e.g., "Club Championship")
- Save
How do I set up dynamic pricing?
- Go to Pricing > Overview
- Enable Auto-Yield for demand-based pricing
- Use Templates for common scenarios
- Test with Preview before going live
